Florian Sagner lives for music, either with his trumpet and percussion instruments on stage, or behind the scenes as composer, producer and studio owner. His grand stage presence enthuses audiences in clubs, halls or festivals. Innovative stage formats as trumpet- percussion - DJ performances, Jazz and Latin concerts and his continued work with the Stimulators keep him a very busy performer.
Vibrating vitality, cool grooves and a crystal clear sound characterize his studio productions, which come out of his own studio in Geretsried, in Bavaria, close to the Alps, in the South of Germany.
Sagner landed tracks both as producer and player on the world famous Café Del Mar and Claude Challe` (Buddah Bar) compilations.
More then 600 concerts, 40 CD productions and some film music projects show the musical work of Forian Sagner.
History
Florian studied classical music at the world famous Mozarteum in Salzburg. As a trumpet player he fell in love with jazz early on and as a percussion player, Florian got heavily involved with Latin music. He attended master classes in New York, Sweden, Cuba, Italy and Spain for both of his main instruments.
The multi-instrumentalist Sagner leads various jazz bands and plays with lots of different well-known artists. Since 1998, he records and tours internationally with the Latin ska band the Stimulators (7 CDs, 2 DVDs, support act for James Brown are among the highlights).
Sagner is successful as a solo artist as well. With his “Trumpoetry” CD he made a name for himself in the lounge and electronica scene. Two tracks from that album are featured on a Café Del Mar Compilation and on the Claude Challe` (Buddha Bar) Select 2008. That record turned into an innovative live set up: the trumpet player Florian Sagner with various international DJs.

At the moment Florian Sagner performs with the Stimulators, his own live lounge & deep house project "pure&deep" as a solo artist performing with a DJ or with his own Florian Sagner X-tet, a hotmodern-jazz line-up.

Florian Sagner owns and operates his own Sagnersound Studio in Geretsried, 30 miles south of Munich, Germany.
